Wastewater Recycling: The Advanced Loop

How it Works
This process takes treated effluent or sewage and pushes it through Ultrafiltration (UF) to remove microscopic particles. Then, Reverse Osmosis (RO) is used; here, high-pressure pumps force water through a semi-permeable membrane that rejects 99% of dissolved salts and contaminants. The result is "reclaimed water" that is often cleaner than the original source water.
